Inspo: Chromat’s signature ‘scaffolding for the body’ structured corset boning dress, digitally rendered for AW13 New York Fashion Week presentation invitation; Chromat’s bold + fearless beauty looks of runway shows past, including commanding eyes, statement brows, + signature color placements.
Design and Colorway Process: Packaging designed on spec according to MAC cosmetics packaging standards. Reiterating the bodycon grid motif on clear packaging, as well as gloss grid on matte opaque surfaces for added depth + dimension. Shades of blue compliment Chromat’s signature cobalt + teal beauty staples, as well as evoke the aquatic depths of the Chromat swimwear world.
Press: Among 5 emerging design teams from the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund, Chromat’s proposal presentation was selected as the sole venture to be produced and sold as an official MAC exclusive collection.
